This one definitely took way longer than I had intended. I'm pretty happy with it though.|
fantastic! though may i ask, what motivated the choice of blank white above the water? it seems a bit odd
i wanted to leave it white so that the piece would have room to breathe a little with the white of the paper. it sort of gives it a more graphic quality for me as well.
i think this is really amazing..beautifully done.
the white and the underwater view reminds me of Josh Keyes' work.
You impossibly talented bastard! Heh.
Ok, that's IT, Mr.!!
I'm adding you.
I hope that's ok.
Just 'nother artist who knows and loves wonderful work when they see it.
thanks! :) yea that's completely ok with me, lol.
I just followed a link to your page this afternoon. Wonderous, buzzing rapture ensued. Would it be okay to friend you? I'd like to keep apace with your current work.
thanks a lot! and yea, it's more than ok for you to friend me :)
You should be happy, it's great!
yeah, twisted in a good way. I love the creepiness factor in this painting... the water nymphs have a mindless intensity to them very zombie like and driven. her folds are well rendered but don't make much sense to me, but overall this is killer piece.
(seeing both sides of the water is really great!
